Nan Hebert

Nan draws from a blend of cultures and indigenous traditions seeking to make her life an offering of healing and medicine for the earth and all those who dwell upon it. Growing up in New Orleans, reverence for the elements, mysticism, creativity and celebration of life are infused in her blood. She draws on her experiences traveling and deep study with wisdom keepers of Yoga, Ayurveda, Dance and medicine work of the Amazon to create a fusion of healing modalities bridging the mind and body, calming the psyche.

Nan is an 800-hour certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher who offers classes, workshops and retreats nationally and internationally. She has been teaching movement for over a decade, previously based at the flagship Jivamukti Yoga School in New York City, for 5 years, she migrated to California after teaching abroad for several years. Her public classes are physically rigorous and playful, fueled by music and incorporating philosophical, spiritual and meditative components.
